"Another Bits Card"

Thank you once again for calling by, I really love that you manage to find time to leave all your kind comments.
After the "hustle and bustle" of working last week I am finding time to play.  Had a few commission cards to do, they are all done and off to who wanted them.
Today`s card is made from some of the bits that were left.  I have started to really look at what is left before I put them in the bag for the school.

Base card is a 6 x 6 card
SB corner Die Cut that was surplus to requirement
Left over pink card embossed with a Creative Expressions folder.
Border cut using SB Borderbilities Dies
Pink organza bow
No sentiment I think this could be used for a few occasions

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling by I appreciate it
Till next time

"Fast Car"

Hello , thank you for stopping by and for all the lovely comments you have been leaving about my cards and boxes.  I read all your comments, that`s what makes Blogging all the more worth while.
A "little" just a little bit warmer here today, still had to wear my boots when I went out shopping this morning.  Someday maybe someday I will get shoes on.
Nothing much happening here, managed to get a few crafty things done this afternoon.

Here is a card that one of my neighbours ordered for her son.  Nothing fancy she said, he is into either fast cars or anything outdoor.   Oh! My! Goodness! people think we just snap our fingers and we come up with what they want.  However I did this card and she is delighted.

Base card 8 x 8
Piece of cream card stock embossed with a "dotty" folder
Black/cream Core-dinations card stock embossed using a Creative Expressions Folder
Cream and black matts under an image I got off the internet
Some SB Cog Dies and a computer generated greeting to finish off

The card was much easier to do that I thought when I put the phone down.  I think when they say its a "man" card I tend to panic

That's it for today
Thank you for calling I really appreciate that you take time to come visit me
Till next Time

"Butterfly Box"

Hello and welcome to my little corner of Blogland.
Thank you for taking time to call by and leave all your lovely comments, I do read them all.

Met Hazel this morning after she had taken a donation to the Perth Chemo Unit.  This was the proceeds from a little Raffle she help amongst a group of friends.  The prize was brilliant, Hazel filled a beautiful canvas Beach Bag with lots of things you would need for your Summer Holiday.
Weather here was really good today apart from the has been blooming freezing.  1st of May is here, when I was dressing to meet Hazel I thought I would put shoes on rather than boots.  Nah!! still had on my boots and I am I glad.

Piece of organza ribbon
Pearls to decorate the sides of the box

That`s it for today

"Baby Girl"

Hello my friends, the "Wilted Waitress" woke this morning rather glad she did not have to go out to work.
I have to say I really enjoyed my 4 days working with Elaine and in a way I will miss the cheerie banter.  I certainly will not miss the hard blooming work.  They have 9 tables in the Tearoom when they are all full it is hard going.  Elaine is an absolute "Wizz" at the food preparation.  Everything is freshly prepared by her own fair hands every day.   Her Coleslaw is to die for..........full fat mayo but what the heck it is only a little on the plate and I just had have to have it with my lunch!!!!!!   Never once got to eat lunch with out being disturbed, that`s life in the food business.

Hazels daughter Gillian had a Family Party/Disco on Saturday evening where children were included and well catered for.   YES!! I did go even after working all day.   It was for a great cause, Gillian raised after all expenses, just over £500 for Maggies Centre Dundee.  There are still donations coming in, a great night was had by all.  We are giving the Fundraising on a big scale a little rest for a few months.  Hazel and I are still selling Pendants and other bits a pieces when people ask for them or they sell from the Tearoom Cabinet.

Today`s card as you see is a baby card
Approx 5 x 7 white card stock
Pink card stock
A Joanna Sheen image matted on Pink Card and a SB Die Cut
Three borders cut using a SB Border Die
White American Seam Binding
Pink Felt Roses, I just cut a concentric circle for each of these Roses.  I did try to Die Cut them but the felt was not "wool" felt and just disintegrated on the cutting plate.........will not try that again
Crealies Die for the leaves and a Triple bow
Computer generated Sentiment on a banner cut by hand

I have been round most of my Blog Friends to see what they have been up to.  If I have missed you I am sorry I will get there
I have entered this into

That`s it for today
Thank you for taking the time to pop by I really appreciate it

"The Wilted Waitess"

Hello Blog friends, great to have you come and visit, I really love when you pop by look at what I have been up to and leave a comment.
Have to say Hi! to Gemma who has commented on my Blog.  She has been trying to do this since she bought some of our Pendants.
You have done it, thank you for persevering it is not easy when you are not good with computers.  I have said it quite a few times, I am hopeless on the computer.   I really do not know how I ever got this Blog up and running.
I am glad I did, I have learnt so much and seen so many beautiful creations along the way.
Well folks that`s my spell at the "Tilted Teapot" tearoom over for now.  I loved doing it, I have really enjoyed working with my friend Elaine.  We have been very, very busy and still managed to have a few laughs along the way.  We have had nothing but wonderful customers which has been a BIG bonus for me, I don`t do grumpy people.  At this point in time I am a rather "Wilted Waitress".    I am Posting this card then off to have a shower, put on my PJs and sit with my feet up.

Today`s card was made the same time as the one I posted on the  Sketch n Stash Challenge
I did this one first but thought it was rather pale so did the other one which I submitted

Base card 5 x 7 approx Centura Pearl
White card embossed using a SB Embossing Folder which I inked before embossing
Pieces af card from a Tilda Paper Stack
SB Floral Oval Die cut
Roses using SB Blossom Five
Leaves a Crealies Die
Ribbon and pearl from my stash

Gemma asked what paper/card I used for my Roses.....................
The min weight I would use is 120gsm.  I prefer 160gsm up to 250gsm, I use any scraps of anything I have, it is just trial and error.
If you check my Post for 7th November 2012 I have a "Tutorial" for the Roses.  The secret is to really "mash" the paper to make it more pliable.  Do not be frighted to play with the paper.  It is only paper if you make a mistake just try again.  I was making these roses long before Spellbinder brought out the fancy edged Dies, I used the Classic Circle Dies.

That`s it for today folks
Thank you for calling by I promise I will get round to seeing you all tomorrow, till then Happy Crafting

Just a Little Note

Hello folks, thank you for calling by.
I am sorry, if once again I am not getting round to commenting on all your Blogs like I usually do.  I will catch up with you all after Monday when "working" will be over for me for the time being.
Another busy day in the Tearoom, tell you what I never thought for one minute that a Tearoom out in the country could be so busy,  You really need a car to get there, there are buses passes each way every hour, I don`t think anyone who has been in while I have been there has came on the bus.
Elaine and her daughter must be doing it "right" there are so many regulars and they have only been open for 2 months.

Today`s card was made with some Bits & Pieces left when I put the sewing machine away the other evening.
Thought I would use them rather than pop them in the box for later.  When I do that I feel "later" never seems to come and they end up in the bag for the school.

Base card is small approx 3 x 5 Centura Pearl, actually fine for a wee gift card
Scrap of paper from the Tilda Paper Stack I was using, I slightly distressed and inked the edges
A Die cut SB shape
The image with the bird and roses was another of the Die Cut images that are part of the Tilda Paper Stack

That`s it for today
Thank you for popping in I really appreciate you taking time to do that and for all your lovely comments.  I do read them all
Till next time
